"Overflowing with Clivias and Dreams"
Three years ago, an exciting new chapter began for Utopia Clivias.
As our passion for clivia breeding continued to grow, so too did our collection of rare and exceptional plants. It wasn’t long before our original nursery at 20 Crane Walk, Sedgefield, became filled to capacity — every tunnel, shade house, and growing bed overflowing with carefully selected cultivars, seedlings, and hybrids in development.
Rather than slow down, we embraced the opportunity to grow further.
In 2022, we expanded Utopia Clivias to a second property just a short distance away. This expansion has allowed us to house even more of our breeding stock, develop specialized growing areas, and invest in new lines of clivia breeding. The additional space has also enabled us to host larger open weekends, welcome more visitors, and offer a wider selection of plants for sale — all while continuing to focus on quality, innovation, and care.
This second nursery has been a game-changer in helping us maintain our standards while giving our collection the room it truly deserves. It’s a testament to how far we’ve come since our humble beginnings in 1996, and a promise of even more exciting things to come.
