Shipping to Selected International Destinations – Seeds and Plants
1. SEED:
Utopia Clivias ships Clivia seeds to selected countries worldwide. Available shipping destinations can be confirmed during checkout via the country selection menu.
2. LIVE PLANTS:
Due to strict and varying international regulations, plant shipments are handled on a case-by-case basis. Customers wishing to import plants must contact us directly prior to placing an order to confirm whether shipment is possible.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure full compliance with their country’s import regulations. This includes providing all relevant requirements, permits, and documentation needed for plant shipping. Utopia Clivias will only proceed with plant shipments where regulations can be clearly met.

Clivia seed terms and conditions (for international clients only)
- A Phytosanitary certificate option is available for required countries at checkout (mandatory for The European Union)
- A small seed lot import permit is mandatory for USA clients only.
- Unforeseen costs may occur when importing seed and plants from South Africa, such as a customs holding, release fees or an import tax fee, all unforeseen costs will be liable to the purchaser.
International shipping costs
- Shipping costs and shipping types (such as DHL express, Royal (Global) mail) will automatically be calculated upon checkout according to the shipping country.
- Please note there is no tracking numbers for Global Mail (Royal Mail)

Shipping schedule (Clivia seed only)
1. Seeds are harvested in June and sent out between July and August of the same year. You will be notified via email of the order being shipped. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to track their order using the selected couriers parcel tracking service on their website.
